Characteristics of ADMER®

1. Strong Adhesion

By thermal reaction ADMER® adheres to Polyamide (PA), EVOH, Polystyrene (PS), Polyester (PET, PETG), Polycarbonate (PC), Polyolefins (PP, PE) and metals such as steel and aluminum.

2. Adhesion Durability

ADMER® and bonded substrate demonstrate excellent durability and thus can be boiled, hot filled and retorted.

3. Polyolefin-like Properties

Since ADMER® is based on polyolefins or copolymers, it retains the physical properies of each polyolefin or copolymer including mechanical strength, heat resistance, chemical resistance and recyclability.

4. Easy Processing

ADMER®, a thermoplastic, can be processed as easily as any other polyolefin by the following methods:

  • coextrusion blow molding
  • tube coextrusion
  • sheet coextrusion
  • film coextrusion (cast and blown film)
  • coextrusion coating
  • powder coating
  • metal coating
  • co-injection
